Funeral services for Gordon L. Hale, 73, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at
Morris-Roetman funeral home in Saranac.  Interment will be at Saranac cemetery.
 He resided at Morrison Lake and died Saturday of a heart attack while attending
a 50th wedding anniversary in Breckridge, Ontario, Canada.

He was born January 7, 1897 in Saranac the son of Mr. and Mrs. Phlorice Hale. 
He was a blacksmith many years in Lansing and has lived at his present residence
five years.

Surviving are his wife, Leotis, two sons, Donald of Lansing, Chester of Indian
River; one daughter, Mrs. Rowena Burkette of Lansing; 13 grandchildren and 13
great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mable Hulliberger of Williamston.
