He had been hospitalized for three weeks. A native of Chester township, Eaton county, he had been a local resident for 20 years moving here from his farm near Charlotte. Mr. Hale was a member of the Central Methodist church and the Adult Fellowship group. He married Maybell R. McIntyre of Mulliken May 26, 1917. Surviving are his wife; a daughter Mrs. Tresa Buist of Grand Rapids and a son Stanley of Charlotte; 4 grand children and 1 great grand child. Mr. Hale reposes at the Pickens Funeral chapel where funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 with burial in the Meadowbrook cemetery, Mulliken. Rev. Luther Brokaw will officiate.
