Mr. Hale is an employee at the Reed and came here from Stanton. Though much sickened, the family are in destitute circumstances. Five children are left. The funeral services for Mrs. Ella May Hale, who died at her home on Dexter street, will be held privately from the Lowrey & Boynton parlors at 2:30 Monday afternoon and interment will be in Orleans cemetery. Mrs. Hale died from influenza and leaves a husband and family. The entire family have been ill, Mr. Hale just getting out today. Considerable sickness has been the lot of the family in recent months and for some time neither the father nor the sons who have been working here have been able to be at their tasks. They have suffered much hardship as a result of their sickness and the death of the wife and mother came as a great shock. Mr. Hale has been employed at the Ypsilanti Reed whose assistance he has had in his hour of need.
