JULIA HALFACRE, 75

Julia B. Halfacre, 75, of Ionia passed away Dec. 19, 2020, at her home. She was 
born June 30, 1945, in Mason City, Iowa the daughter of Elias and Genevieve 
(Garcia) Abrego.

Julia was an active member at Temple Baptist Church. She loved to garden. Julia 
will be remembered by her family as a beautiful soul and wonderful mother and 
grandmother.

Surviving are her grandchildren; Nicole Walrath of Florida, Joshua Walrath of 
Florida and Micah Halfacre of Grand Rapids. Great-grandchildren; Nina, Jacob and 
Gabriel. Sister Genevieve (Edward) Swartz of Detroit and brother Don Abrego of 
Ionia. Several nieces and nephews Julia was preceded in death by her parents, 
daughter Colleen Halfacre son Lenard Halfacre and sisters Olivia and Beatrice. 
Cremation has taken place and  there will be a celebration of life at Temple 
Baptist church in Ionia, 11 AM, Jan. 9, 2021, with Pastor Brian Rahn 
officiating. Memorials to Temple Baptist church. Arrangements in care of Lake
