Hall, 90, of 1251 Yeomans St., died Sunday morning at the Ionia Manor. She was born in Mecosta County near Remus on April 10, 1888 to George and Marie Schlagle Thren. Hall attended schools at Remus. She married Delbert Hall and they made their home in Ionia most of their married life. He preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 1947. She then made her home with her daughter Bernice on West Yeomans Street. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Ionia. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bernice DeLine and Mrs. Richard (Eileen) Zander, both of Ionia; three sons, Harold and Homer of Eaton Rapids; Herman of Gladwin; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Arnold Thren of Remus; four sisters, Mrs. Lavina Fox of Winn; Mrs. William (Alma) Metzger of Gaylord; Mrs. Ross (Hulda) Snyder of Coral, and Mrs. Jess (Leona) Nutt of Taylor. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ionia. The Rev. Leo Kostizen will officiate. Burial will be in Greens Cemetery, Orleans. Friends may call at the Leddick Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for St. John’s Lutheran Church and contributions can be left at the funeral home. Subsequent Publication: The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, March 21, 1979 Services for Minnie C. Hall, 90, who died Sunday were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The Rev. Leo Kostizen officiated. Organist was Mrs. Rebecca Fick. Committal service was held at the church with later burial in Greens Cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert DeLine, Thomas Zander, William Dygert, Jeffrey Engle, Thomas Gorman and John Martis. Following services at the church, a luncheon was served to family and friends in the St. John’s Lutheran School dining room. Prior to church services a family prayer was held at the Leddick Funeral Home.
