And 15 days. January 5th, 1868 he was married to Adeline Fenn at Salamania, New York and four years later came to his present home at Matherton at which place he was engaged in the grocery business for many years. He served his school district as director for many years and held many other offices of public trust in his township and was justice of the peace for 44 years or up to the time of his death. Mr. Hall came from an English ancestry and had in his possession a family tree or written record of his family including the Brewsters and Gov. Winslow of the Plymouth Colony who came over on the Mayflower in 1620. The diseased was a member of the Masonic Order for many years and leaves to mourn their loss his wife and one adopted daughter, Vesta and many friends.
