Daniel A. Hall, pioneer resident of Orange, died this morning at the age of sixty-four years. He was the son of Alexander Hall and was born on the farm where he died, in 1842. Of his father’s family two are now living, Charles Hall, and Mrs. Della Wellman, of Marion, Mich. Mr. Hall is survived by six children, Mrs. Joseph First, Mrs. Lafayette Linebaugh, Mrs. Abraham Snyder and Miss Lillie Hall, of Orange, Mrs. Fred Call, of Ionia, and Leonard Hall, of Lyons. One son, Lee Hall, met a tragic death a year ago. Pneumonia was the cause of Mr. Hall’s death. About four weeks ago he fell from his threshing engine fracturing his arm. Since that time he had been closely confined and in some manner took a severe cold. This cold resulted in pneumonia which caused his death. The funeral will be held Thursday at the Hall church in Orange, Rev. Simmons, of LeValley church, officiating. The hour is half-past ten o’clock. The pall bearers are Joseph First, L. Linebaugh, A. Snyder and Fred Catt. File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/h/hall1427nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
