Ionia Sentiel, October 1946
Millie S. Hall, 76, wife of Freeman J. Hall, Palo farmer, died Wednesday at 
her farm home. She was born in Hubbardston on July 11, 1870, the daughter of 
Samuel and Sarah Bennett.  She had been a resident of the Palo community for 
over 60 years.  

On November 4, 1892, she was united in marriage to Freeman J. Hall and to this 
union six children were born, Blanche, who died in October 1910, Rene, who 
died in September 1923, and Ben, who died in January 1941. Beside the aged 
husband who has enjoyed her companionship for 54 years, she is survived by two 
sons, Carl of Newberry, Fay of Detroit, one daughter, Mrs. E.L. Mark of Spruce 
and two granddaughters, one brother, Ben Bennett of Crystal and one sister, 
Mrs. Lillie Clark of Sumner.

Funeral services at Palo Methodist Church.  Burial in Palo Cemetery.
