The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, July 11, 1922

The funeral for Clara Hall, seven-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert 
Hall, 514 Harrison street, was held from the family residence Monday afternoon 
at 2:30, Rev. Charles J. Kruse officiating.  The pallbearers were Palmer Hall, 
Irwin Hall, Andrew Threw, and Louis Threw, and music was furnished by Mrs. 
John Hodgkins, Jr., and Mrs. Ray Colwell.  Burial took place in Green’s 
cemetery.

Subsequent Publication:  Wednesday, July 12, 1922

We wish to thank our relatives, friends, and neighbors, for their kindness and 
sympathy shown us, those who furnished cars, Rev. Kruse for his words of 
comfort; also for the consoling hymns that were sung, and the floral offerings 
which were beautiful and many, in the death of our little daughter, Clara.
