The Ionia Standard, Friday, June 26, 1885

Palo.  Correspondence of The Standard.

Mrs. Hall departed this life at her son’s residence, Mr. Samuel Holbrook’s, 
Thursday evening.  The funeral was at the Baptist church Sunday, sermon by 
Rev. Wm. R. Warner from 1 Corinthians 15-35, “But some man will say, how are 
the dead raised up, and with what body do they come?”  There was a large 
attendance.  She has been a resident of this town for about thirty-three 
years.  Her husband died here only last fall.
