He and another young man by the name Will Train were in bathing, and while swimming in a part of the river where the water is nearly 15 feet deep, he was suddenly taken with cramps, and disappeared from view. Young Train made some vigorous attempts to save his friend but was unable to render any efficient service. His body was recovered in about an hour and a half. Dr. Dresskell made strenuous efforts to resuscitate life, as a feeble heart beating was apparent for some time. His death, however, followed shortly after. The funeral occurred at the M. E. church on Saturday afternoon. File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/h/hall22579nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
