Ionia Sentinel Standard, 14 Apr 1975

Mrs. Martha E. Hall, 92, of 1263 Nickleplate road, died Sunday in Belding
Christian rest home.  Born February 9, 1883, in the Province of Ontario, Canada,
she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Stirrett.  She married William Hall on
December 6, 1911 in Canada.  He preceded her in death in April, 1937.

Mrs. Hall was formerly a registered nurse at Port Huron hospital, and a former
member of Lowell Congregation church.  She was also a member of the Literary and
Garden club of Lowell, but had made her home in Ionia, during the past nine
years, where she was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Pleasant Hill club
and Martha-Esther guilt.

Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Stauffer of Ionia.  One other daughter
Lois Van Dyke died in 1960.  Other survivors include five grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Myers-Roetman funeral home, the Rev.
Harold Johnson officiating.  Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery at Lowell.
