Ionia Sentinel Standard, 13 Nov 1981

Gladys L. Hall, 83, of 12293 Sunfield Highway, Sunfield, dies Tuesday, Nov. 10,
at the residence of a daughter.  She was born June 5, 1898, in Barry County, the
daughter of Clyde and Jennie Baer Purdun, and had lived most of her life in the
Portland-Sunfield-Lake Odessa area.

She is survived by two sons, Bud Dervillo of Illinois and Frank Day Jr. of Grand
Ledge; four daughters, Mrs. Bert (Pauline) Lehman of Portland, Mrs. Richard
(Doris) Droste of Sunfield, Mrs. Paul (Bonnie) Elias of Grand Rapids, and Mrs.
Leonard (Eleanor) Miller of Portland; 21 grandchildren and several
great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Lakeside
Cemetery, Lake Odessa.  Arrangements are by Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake
Odessa.
