Hall, 74, died Wednesday at her home at 210 S. Broas Street after a long illness. She was born at Tecumseh, August 28, 1884, the daughter of Charles and Kate Field, and was married November 6, 1907 to Adelbert H. Hall at Hastings. Before coming here 50 years ago her husband was a hardware merchant in Hastings for three and one half years. He was a mortician and furniture merchant here for 43 years, his last location at 209 W. Main Street, also former mayor and school board member. Mrs. Hall was a life member of Doric Chapter, No. 75, O.E.S,. a member of Ladies Literary Club, New Idea Club, Ladies Thimble Club, Congregational Church and Social Circle and well known socially until her failing health prevented these activities. Surviving are one son, Fred M. Hall of Gladwin and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday at two o’clock at Huffman Funeral Home, her former pastor Rev. H. B. Johnson officiating and burial was in Riverside cemetery at Hastings. Pall bearers were John Stahlin, Laurence Hodge, John D. Cooper, Glen E. Wortley, John Rumohr and Ray Young.
