Rev. George Woodcock will officiate and interment will be at the Woodard Lake cemetery. She had been seriously ill for the past week and in poor health for the past few years. She had lived at the same farm for about 86 years. Born in New York State, the daughter of William and Hannah Penny, she came to Ionia with her parents, when she was one year old. January 8, 1896, she was married to Robert Hall in Ionia and the couple made their home on the Penny farm. Surviving besides the husband Robert, are: Mrs. Benom Penny of Grand Rapids, as sister-in-law, four nieces, Mrs. Myrtle Arntz of Ionia, Mrs. Fred Miers of Benton Harbor, Mrs. Fred Kitzmiller of Big Fork, Montana and Mrs. J.M. Dio11 of Bay City; two nephews, Douglas Dye of Shiloh and Hayes Penny of Grand Rapids; and one great niece Mrs. Matthew Bradley of Ionia.
