Hall, 85, of Belding passed away Friday morning, Aug. 29, 2014, at Spectrum Health United Hospital in Greenville. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at Johnson- Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home. A complete obituary will be published on Tuesday. Subsequent Publication: Tuesday, September 2, 2014 Dessie M. Hall, 85, of Belding passed away Friday morning August 29, 2014 at Spectrum Health in Greenville. Dessie was born on March 23, 1929 in Muskegon Heights, the daughter of Percy A. and Clara M. (Woodry) Wolfe. She graduated from Saranac High School with the Class of 1947 and later retired from the Department of Corrections in 1990. She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and attended the Belding Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed travel, an occasional trip to the casino and having morning coffee and visits with all her friends at McDonalds. Dessie is loved and survived by her children; Gary and Ruth Hall of Belding, Leonard Hall of Lakeview, Craig and Ellen Hall, Scott Hall, Kevin and Rae Ann Hall all of Belding, her grandchildren; Pat, Kari, Destiny, Darin, Melissa, Shannon, Casey, Nick, Aaron, Andrew, her great grandchildren; Alexis, Alya, Addison, Kashees, Ezra, Sterling, Aniyah, Caleb and one brother Leo Wolfe of Fenton. Dessie was preceded by her parents, two sisters; Pearl and Irene and a daughter in law Theresa Hall. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Eben Smith of the Belding Free Methodist Church officiating. Private committal prayers will be in River Ridge Cemetery, Belding. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Red Cross or the Alvah N. Belding Library.
