Hall, 87, of Belding, passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2014 at home. Florence was born on April 19, 1927 in Belding, the daughter of Thomas and Lillian (McConnell) Spencer. She graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1945 and in earlier years worked at Jolly Kids, the Murray Corp, Belding Area Schools, Belding Hospital and retired from Meijers in 1995. She was a member of the Belding United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and was an accomplished poet having several of her poems published. Florence married Carol Hall on August 10, 1946 in Belding and he preceded her in death on November 20, 1976. She is also preceded by her son; Spencer Hall, her parents, one sister; Pauline and one brother; Elwood. She is loved and survived by her daughters; Linda (Lloyd) Loper of Belding and Mary (Floyd) Conley of Sheridan, 14 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren, sister-in-law; Gloria Spencer of Orleans and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2014 at Belding United Methodist Church with Pastor Kim DeLong officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Committal prayers will follow in Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Memorial contributions may be given to Belding United Methodist Church.
