Ionia Standard, 21 Mar 1890

Benoni B. Hall, the aged father of Mrs. Oscar Webber, died at his residence on
East Front street, on Friday.  He was 72 years old, the last three of which he
spent in Ionia.  His quiet demeanor did not bring him in general contact with
people, but such friends as he did make, soon learned to think well of him.  His
wife and two sons, Samuel and Jerome, the former of Mechanicsville, N.Y., and
the latter of Monterey, N.Y., survive.  Funeral ceremony was on Sunday, and
interment was in Highland Park cemetery.
