There has been bad blood between the men for a long time, the differences arising over an unsettled estate. The men met in Portland early the afternoon of the day mentioned, and in the quarrel, Hall, who it is said was somewhat under the influence of liquor, received three violent blows from the fist of Rozelle, which rendered him unconscious, and death soon followed. An inquest was held yesterday, and Rozelle is under arrest. Auguring from January’s business the courts promise to be lively for a time. [Transcriber's Note: There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried in Danby Cemetery.] File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/h/hall31935nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 1.3 Kb
