Ionia Daily Sentinel, 26 Apr 1883

Died.  Hon. Frederick Hall died at his home in this city this afternoon, at
about 2:30 o’clock.  Mr. Hall was one of the early settlers of this place, has
always been prominent in the social and political life of western Michigan, is
very widely known, and the news of his death will being a sense of grief to as
many people as that of almost any man in the state.  (Ionia’s Hall-Fowler
Memorial Library was the home of this fine gentleman and named in his honor.)
