Ionia Daily Sentinel, 16 Feb 1891

Jerome Hall died at his home, one and a half miles south-east of the city, on
Sunday morning of heart disease; age, 58.  He leaves a wife (now confined to her
bed with sickness) and a daughter, Mary, wife of Edward Stevens.  Mr. Hall was
born in Ypsilanti in 1833, and came to Ionia nine years ago from Dewitt.  He was
a cooper by trade, and was a hard-working and industrious man, respected by all
who knew him.  Funeral at the house, Thursday, 17th, at 1 p.m.; interment in
Tuttle Cemetery.
