Lake Odessa Wave - November 14, 1974
          FINAL RITES HELD FOR IRVIN L. HALL
   Irvin L. Hall, 87, retired farmer of Route 2, Lake Odessa passed away Friday
morning at Pennock Hospital, 
Hastings where he had been a patient two weeks.
   He was born July 15, 1887, in Osceola County near Evart, the son of William and
Katie (Roberts) Hall.  He 
married Mildred Henderson, February 27, 1924 at Allegan and had lived on their farm
on M-66 all their 
married live.
   Mr. Hall was a member of the Sebewa Baptist Church, The Ionia Farm Bureau and he
was a veteran of World 
War 1, serving about a year overseas.  Mr. Hall was also a member of Lakeside
Barracks No. 2161.
   Surviving are his wife, a brother Sherman of Sears; nieces and nephew.
   Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel
with burial in Lakeside 
Cemetery.  Rev. Patrick Neff officiated.
