Funeral at Calvary United Brethren Church. Leaves Large Circle of Relatives. Mrs. Elizabeth Shade Hall, mother of Wayne Shade and Mrs Ruth Peterman of Lake Odessa died at the latter's home Thursday, Aug. 13. Mrs. Hall's life will be lovingly cherished by her children, and most kindly remembered by older inhabitants of Lake Odessa as a very worthy, pleasant and industrious woman always doing her part in life's work. After the death of her husband, Mr.Shade, she continued to live here until she returned to her former home in Ohio in 1925. The children left to mourn are Mrs.Dan Peterman and Wayne Shade of Lake Odessa, Harry Shade of Falls City, Ore., Earl Shade of Remus, Mich., and Marion Shade of Lowell. OBITUARY Elizabeth Hall, daughter of Joseph and Mary Ann Stouffer, was born February 21, 1864 in Montgomery county, Dayton, Ohio and departed this life on August 13,1936 aged 72 years, five months and 23 days. On September 6,1881 she was united in marriage to Reuben Shade who passed away September 17, 1919, and to this union were born seven children. She lived near Greenville, Ohio, after er marriage until coming to Michigan about 1890, and settled in Barry county, near Woodland. She lived in this vicinity and Lake Odessa until her return to Dayton Ohio, in June 1925 where she married I.F. Hall of that city, living there until his death in December 1934 Then she returned to Lake Odessa and resided with her children, living at the home of her daughter Mrs.Ruth Peterman when she passed away. She has been cheerful in her suffering, having been an invalid for about three years. Even thought she could not get out, she will be greatly missed by those she has left behind. She leaves to mourn their loss, five children, two daughters having preceded her in death, two step-children, one brother, 28 grandchildren, one great-grandchild besides other relatives and a host of friends. The funeral was held Sunday at 2 p.m., at the Calvary united Brethren church with the Rev.R.A. Hoffman officiating.
