Ionia Daily Sentinel, 11 Aug 1944

Funeral services for Guy A. Hall, 73, former Ionia county resident, who died 
Wednesday evening in a Mt. Clemens hospital, will be conducted by Rev. C. A. 
Brady at Stone’s funeral home here Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock.  Burial 
will be in Higbee cemetery.  The body was brought here Friday.

Mr. Hall, who was born in Orleans township, a son of Henry J. and Cordelia N. 
Higbee Hall, had been ill but a short time.  For the past several years he had 
resided with his son, Eldon Hall at Warren.  He was graduated from Ionia high 
school and later taught in the Hall district school.  He was affiliated with 
the Detroit lodge of Odd Fellows.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Jackson, and Mrs. Ione McElmurry, 
Lansing, and several grandchildren.
