The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 24, 1947
Morton B. Hall of Belding died at the home of his daughter in West Branch 
Friday at the age of 72.  He had lived in the vicinity of Belding all his life 
after going there from Long Lake where he was born.  

He leaves his wife, Mary; five daughters, Mrs. Charles Olson of Grand Rapids, 
Mrs. Clifford Sherman of West Branch, Mrs. Kenneth Lockwood and Mrs. Ervin 
Nelson of Battle Creek and Bernard Blue of Flint; three sons, Elsworth of 
Portland, Raymond of West Branch and Stanley of Flint; and one sister and two 
brothers.

Services were held Monday at 2 o’clock with burial in Greens cemetery.
