                              JAMES D.HALLADAY Sr.

ORLEANS-James D. Halladay, Sr, 58 of 587 W.Long Lake Road, Orleans, died 
Wednesday a this resident.

He was born Mary 23, 1928, in Munising, the son of Oscar and Lucille Hoffman 
Halladay,

He lived in Bay City until 1962 when he moved to Orleans.

He married Winnifred LaFrance in Bay City on Dec. 22, 1945.

He worked at the Chrysler Lyons Trim Plant until 1974 when he returnded to truck 
driving.

Surviving are his wife, Winnifred, three daughters, Judy Lozo of Ionia, Kathleen 
Haga of Milwaukee and Marilu St.John of Rockford, Ill., three sons, James 
D.Halladay Jr., Craig S.Halladay, both of Ionia and Robert V. Halladay of Long 
Lake; nine grandchildren, his mother, Lucille Halladay of Bay City, one 
sister,Marie Colson of Bay City; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar; one brother, Charles; and one 
son, Timothy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Rich Street Chapel of 
the Montgomery Funeral Home.

Burial will be at River Ridge Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home Friday from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-8:30 p.m.

A memorial has been established for the Kent County Care Unit of A.A. in care of 
the funeral home.
