Friday in St.Lawrence Hospital from injuries received in a one car accident late Thursday. Haller's injuries were received when his car struck a cement abutment near the intersection of I-96 and Crietz Road. Born Oct. 26, 1942, he was a son of Royal Haller, Jr., and the former Helen Beaver. He attended rural school in Berlin Township, and was a 1960 graduate of Saranac High School. He had been making his home in Lansing since last October, following two years service with the United States Army. He was employed by Oldsmobile. Surviving are his wife Mary; one son Todd R.Haller, and a daughter Lori Lynn, of Saranac; his parents, Mr. and Mrs.Royal Haller; a brother Gary; his grandmother, Mrs.Racie Haller, and Mrs.Mary Beaver all from Lake Odessa. Services were scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday from Estes-Leadley Colonial Chapel, Lansing, the Rev. Glen Pettigrove of the Methodist Church in Berlin township officiating. Bearers were Paul Shellenbarger, E.Ward Beaver, John Lich, Fred Tackett, Silvio Demarco and Kenneth Parker. Honorary bearers were Lee Shellenbarger, Ronnie Badenmuller, Donald, Darwin, Clyde and Marshall Beaver. Burial was in the Saranac Cemetery.
