Haller, former science and mathematics instructor at the Ionia high school. He died at his home in Carlsbad, California as the result of a heart attack. Mr. Haller was an instructor at the Ionia high school form September 1929 to June 1941. He resigned his position in 1941 to complete his studies for his master of science degree at the University of Michigan. After graduation from the university he served in the United State Naval Air Force and was a lieutenant-commander at the time of his discharge after World War II. After his discharge he accepted a position as a professor of science and mathematics at the Army and Navy academy in Carlsbad. The academy is a military preparatory school. The former Ionia instructed was a native of Kewadin, Michigan. Survivors include his wife, Anne, and his daughter, Sandra. Funeral arrangements were not available.
