Agnes M. Hallock, 88, of Gowen, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, at Spectrum Health
United Memorial Long Term Care in Greenville.  She was born in Belding on Jan.
5, 1921, and after graduation from high school she married Amos L. Hallock.  He
preceded her in death in 1986.  Her brother, Chester Nash, and sister, Margaret
Tingley, also preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Greenville First United Methodist Church, the American
Legion Auxiliary, Greenville, and the Auxiliary of the VFW Post in Sheridan.

She is survived by her children, Geraldine (Ken) Norton of Vero Beach Fla., Gary
(Ariel) Hallock of Rockford, Beverly (Dave) Scofield; grandchildren, Bridgette,
Lisa, Bryan, Rick, Curt, Misty, Mark, Doug and Theresa; 21 great-grandchildren
and two great-great-grandchildren, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
Vernon (Marie) Hallock and Leatha (Dale) Chapin.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Greenville First United Methodist
Church with the Rev. Steve Charnley officiating.  Burial will be in Rest Haven
Memory Gardens.  Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hurst Funeral Home,
Greenville.
