Portland Observer, 17 Jan 1883

Died. – At Hoytville, January 10, 1888 Bessie E. Halloway, infant daughter of 
Oliver and Eva Halladay, aged 5 months and 12 days.  The funeral services were 
attended by Geo. L. Mount, Jan. 11.  Many relatives and a large circle of friends 
were present.
