MRS. MARGARET HALSTEAD
Mrs. Margaret Halstead, 87, of 825 Green, Portland, died Sunday at St. Lawrence
hospital in Lansing.

Born at Westphalia January 4, 1887, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew
Meyers.

She and her sister at one time operated a beauty shop in Portland. She was a member
of St. Patrick's Catholic church at Portland.

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Nora Musser of Bradenton, Fla., and Mrs. Rose Reed
of Portland, brother, Herman Meyers of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 am at St. Patrick's church at Portland.
Rev. Donald Weber will officiate and interment will be at Portland cemetery.

Rosary will be Tuesday at 8 pm at Neller funeral home, Portland.
