The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Thursday, February 8, 1917
Mrs. Eva Halstead died Wednesday at the county home.  The remains will be 
taken to Lyons, where funeral services will be held at the M. E. church 
Saturday.  Her husband died four years ago, and she is survived by six 
children, who have been cared for by several families.
