Ionia Daily Standard, 15 Jun 1963

Jerry W. Halsted, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Halsted of Muir, died June 13 
after a long illness in St. Joseph hospital, Ann Arbor.  He was born September 
13, 1942.

Surviving besides his parents are four sisters, Mrs. Gerald Swainston, Mrs. 
John Currigan, Mrs. William Maxwell and Mrs. Phillip Cummings; and two 
brothers, Donald and John.  

Funeral service will be conducted at North Plains church Sunday at 2 p.m.  
Interment will be at Lyons cemetery.  Contributions will be accepted at Shaw-
Rivett funeral home in Muir for the Michigan Crippled Children’s society.
