Lucille K. Halverson, 83, of Belding, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away
Thursday afternoon, March 3, 2005, at Metron of Belding Nursing Home.  She was
born March 19, 1921, in Comanche, Okla.   Lucille was married May 29, 1945, in
Comanche, to Donald E. Halverson.  For many years, Lucille was a secretary at
East Grand Rapids High School.  She was a member of Church of Christ in Grandville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, on Jan 6, 2004; her parents;
and brother, James.  She is survived by her children, James W. and Jackie
Halverson of Pittsburgh, Ill., Rick A. and Sue Halverson of Eau Claire, Wis.,
Donnie and Cheryl Halverson of Rio Rico, Ariz., John Halverson of Kentwood,
Linda and Michael Lehman of Wyoming; grandchildren, Jenny, Stephanie, Amy,
Angie, Tom, Dawn, Gabe, Chris, Jeff, Shane; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother,
Charles Roberson of Costa Rica.

Funeral and committal services were noon Monday at Church of Christ in
Grandville, with Pastor Russ Holden officiating.  Interment followed in
Grandville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart
Association.  Funeral services were entrusted to Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral
Home, Belding.
