The Ionia Standard, Friday, November 26, 1915

The remains of Harry H. Hamilton arrived in Ionia, the city of his birth, from 
New York City, Monday, and the funeral was attended from the home of his 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Hamilton, on Lafayette St., on Tuesday afternoon 
at two o’clock, Rev. A. R. Mitchell of St. John’s church officiating.

The remains were accompanied by the parents, the bereaved wife, and K. R. 
Smith, Jr.

The news of this young man’s death was read in Ionia with distinct sorrow, for 
he was a social favorite here, with friends dating from his childhood, and 
many acquired during his manhood and business career.  He would have attained 
his 47th year on Sunday next.

His business life was almost entirely in the clothing business, being 
successively a retailer, a commercial salesman, and lastly, a manufacturer of 
clothing.  His last venture was as manufacturer under the firm name of…
