A. Kenneth Hamilton, 86, Greenville, passed away Thursday, May 30, 1996, from
injuries suffered in an automobile accident.  He was born Feb. 12, 1910, in
McBride, to Royal and Ida Hansen Hamilton.  He is a longtime area farmer,
formerly owning a farm on M-91 near Belding.  He was a self-employed carpenter
and home builder.

He was married June 10, 1939, to Norma Lee and she survives with his children
Linda and Edward Whittenbach, John and Eva Hamilton, and Jim and Cheryl Hamilton
– all of Belding; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one sister,
Ethel Hall of Belding.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of
Belding with the Rev. Nathaniel Johnson officiating.  Interment will be in the
Ashley Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at
the church.  Memorials may be made to the church or the Belding Museum. 
Arrangements are being handled by the Johnson Funeral Home.
