HAMILTON GRAND RAPIDS - Evlyn M. Hamilton, M. Hamilton, 96 of 11535 E. Fulton, Lowell and formerly of Lake Odessa died Feb. 2 at Kent Community Hospital in Grand Rapids, where he had been a patient for three weeks. Hamilton was born Nov. 24, 1883 in Adrian, the son of Nathan and Aramintoa (Kennedy) Hamilton. He attended schools in Adrian and worked on a dairy farm there in his early years. He was married to Anna Gigi on Oct. 11, 1906 in Adrian. They moved to Lake Odessa in 1941, where he was employed by the Lake Odessa Canning Company as a boiler operator. Hamilton was a member of the Calvary United Brethren Church in Lake Odessa and a past member of the Lake Odessa Lions Club. Survivors include his wife, Anna; a daughter, Mrs. Mrs. Hazel Aldred of Birmingham; a brother, Douglas of Opeka, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Stout of California; three grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A daughter Grace Saunders, preceded him in death. Services were held at the Pickens-Kooops Funeral chapel in Lake Odessa with the Rev. George Speas officiating. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.
