Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 25 Jul 1938

Mrs. Aurelia Fox Hamilton died at the home of her son, James H. Fox, 425
Pleasant street, Grand Rapids, Thursday, July 28, at the age of 91.  She was
born in Brewerton, New York, October 1, 1847, coming to Michigan in 1865 with
her father, Daniel Spire, and settled in Muir in Ionia county.  She had been a
resident of Grand Rapids since 1906.

Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Carrie E. Strachan, of Pewamo; a granddaughter,
Margaret Fox Doll, of Mt. Clements; a nephew, Harry O. Probasco of Muir, and a
niece, Mrs. Delia O. Probasco Stoddard, of Muir.

Prayer services will be held at the home of her son in Grand Rapids at 1 o’clock
Saturday afternoon, July 30.  Interment will be made at the family lot at Muir
at 3 o’clock p.m.
