Hastings Reminder, 12 Oct 2015

Marian Louise (Rogers) Hamilton died October 7, 2015, at the age of 78.  Marian
was born March 6, 1937 to Ray and Lorraine (Leak) Rogers in Clarksville.  Marian
was a music lover, with her favorites being country, gospel country, and Elvis
Presley.

She was a member of the Moose Lodge, and loved bowling, playing pool and
billiards, flower gardening, reading, crocheting, and doing puzzles.  Marian
worked over 20 years at Fate’s Grocery Market as a clerk, cashier, in produce
and meats, and then at American Greetings from 1989 until her retirement in 2012.

Marian is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie (Michael) Kalahar of DeWitt, and
Deidre (Jim) Cathcart of Charlotte; four grandchildren, Bradley (Casey)
Cathcart, April (Travis) Morris, Emily (John) Mudget, Holly (Bryon) Wilant; and
five great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren
Hamilton in 2000; her brother, Bruce Roger; and her parents.

Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at Pray Funeral Home, with Rev.
Charles Jenson officiating.  If desired, Marian had suggested donations to Eaton
Community Palliative Care or American Lung Association.
