B. on North Plains. Her last birthday anniversary was on June 4 last, when she attained the venerable age of 86 years. Mrs. Hamilton was an invalid for 20 years, the result of a paralytic stroke, and for the last 15 years was helpless physically, but mental faculties, how ever, were clear up to within a week of her death, when she was found in a stupor, from which she was not aroused, and she slept peacefully and painlessly into the eternal rest. The deceased was born at Amsterdam, Montgomery county, N.Y. June 4, 1908, and lived there until she married. From thence Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton went to Avon, N.Y., and in 1864 they came to Michigan, going direct to the farm in Ronald which Mr. H. very soon thereafter purchased. Five children born to this union are still living. Daniel of Big Rapids; Mrs. C. C. Curtiss of Minneapolis; John H. of this city, Mrs. Wm. B. McMillen of Howell, and Edward B. of North Plains. The burial services will be attended on Thursday at 2 p.m. from the North Plains church, and the remains will be laid beside the husband who preceded her some fifteen years in the North Plains cemetery.
