MABEL V. HAMLER
LYONS - Mabel V. Hamler, 94, of 346 Elizabeth Street, Lyons, died Thursday at Ionia
manor.

She was born in Lyons on June 8, 1894, the daughter of Albert and Dora Tubbs Hamler.
She graduated from Lyons High School in 1912.

Hamler never married and was a bank teller at the Lyons Bank for several years. She
also was the Ionia County  Register of Deeds.

She was an 80-year member of the Lyons United Methodist Church and was a lifetime 
member of the Evergreen Chapter No. 334 Order of the Eastern Star in Lyons.

She is survived by two nieces; Emily Olds of Redford and Maxine Smith of Detroit.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Hull Memorial Chapel in
Muir with Dr. Lloyd Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Lyons Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the funeral begins.
