Funeral services for Olive R. Hamlett, 48, will be Monday at 1:30 PM at Myers-
Roetman funeral home.  Rev. Harold Johnson will officiate and interment will be 
at Sebewa cemetery.

Mrs. Hamlett of 515 North State died Friday morning of a heart attack at her 
home.

Born in Portland, March 30, 1925, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gaylen 
Bliss and lived most of her life in the Ionia area.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Smith of Fife Lake and Ellen Sue Smith 
at home; son, Allen Hamlett also at home; one grandchild; mother, Mrs. Modena 
Bliss of Ionia; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Guernsey and Mrs. Helen Lamphere of 
Ionia.
