Rosemary E. (Mays) Hammett, 84, of Ionia, passed away March 7, 2013 in Ionia. 
She was born Aug. 2, 1928 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Daniel and Eulalia 
(Bouvier) Mays. 

Rosemary is survived by her children, Elwin (Judy) Bohne  of Colon, Shelia 
(Robert) Fullerton of Ionia, Boyd Hammett of Ionia, Allen Hammett of Lake 
Odessa, Patty (Scott) Casey of Ionia, Scott Hammett of Orleans, and Brenda 
Hammett of Ionia; 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren: and special friend 
Brenda Sexton of Nashville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Bohne, three brothers and two 
sisters.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 at Lake Funeral Home 
in Ionia. Visitation will on Tuesday from 12 p.m. until the time of service. 
Memorial contributions may be made to her family.
