Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2 Apr 1973

Masonic funeral services for J.H. Hammond, who died March 22 at Yuma, Ariz. were
March 26.  Burial was in Desert Lawn cemetery, Yuma.  Attending from out of town
were his sons and families, Mr. and Mrs. David Hammond of VanNy, Calif., Mr. and
Mrs. Jon Hammond of Atlanta, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hammond of Anchorage, Alaska,
and C.K. Downing and family of Yuma.  Mr. Hammond, retired member of Ionia high
school faculty, had been spending the winter at Yuma Ariz.
