Ionia Sentinel Standard, 18 Feb 1948

Funeral services for Richard Floyd Hammontree, four months’ old son of Mr. and
Mrs. Floyd Hammontree of Belding, will be held from the Ellis funeral home
Wednesday at 1:30 o’clock with interment in River Ridge cemetery.  The Rev. H.S.
Ellis will officiate.  The child was bound dead in bed Monday morning by its
mother of pneumonia and a heart condition, according to the attending coronor,
Dale Kauffman.
