Hasting's Reminder - Sat. February 17, 2024

Keith Hampel

Keith Hampel, of Lake Odessa,MI passed away on Wednesday Feb. 14, 2024 at Maple 
Ridge Manor in Lowell, MI.

Keith was born on June 13, 1928 to Theodore and Marian (Coon) Hampel in Grand 
Rapids, MI.Keith worked for many years at E.W. Bliss in Hastings. In retirement 
he loved traveling, fishing and square danced all over the country.

Keith leaves behind his children, Susan Ketchum, Mark (Deb) Hampel Scott (Caryl) 
Hampel, Karen(Robert) Couch; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; five 
great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 73 years, Priscilla; 
granddaughter, Cheryl (Ketchum) Brooks and son-in-law, Lon Ketchum brother, 
Bruce (Evelyn) Hampel; sister, June (Richard) Morlok, Sister, Joy (Clare) 
Blakely and sister, Linda (Chuck) Begerow.

According to Keith's wishes cremation has taken place and memorial will be held 
at a later date.
