Ionia County News-Thurs. Nov.28, 1940

MRS. HARRY HAMPER
Mrs. Harry Hamper, aged 67 of Aurora, Ill., passed away Monday, November 25, after
an illness of eight weeks following an operation. She was born August 10, 1873 to John
and Philura Blanchard. Her girlhood was spent in Orleans. After marriage to Harry Hamper
of Greenville they lived there about five years, later moved to Aurora, Ill., where
they have since resided. She leaves, the husband, two sons, Harold and Richard of Aurora; three 
grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs.Nellie Kerts of Noxon, Montana, Mrs.Fred Pitt of
Orleans and one brother John Blanchard of Belding. The funeral will be held in Aurora.
