Ionia Daily Sentinel, 3 Mar 1961

Funeral service will be held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon at Myers funeral 
home for J. Arthur Hampshire, 71, a farmer, who died Friday morning at Hawley 
convalescent home in Muir.
	
He was born in Kansas City, Kans., December 5, 1881.
	
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lillian Smith of Oregon, and a brother, Samuel 
Hampshire of Lakeview.

Burial will be in the family lot at Balcom cemetery.
