Ionia Sentinel Standard, 22 Oct 1966

Mrs. Ella Hancock, 85, passed away October 21 at the Bide-A-Wee Convalescent 
home, Belding.  She has been there for the last several weeks.  She was born 
December 26, 1882 in Crawford county, Ohio to Mr. and Mrs. George Swick.  In 
July, 1902 she was married to Albert Hancock who died in March 1958.  Mrs. 
Hancock was a fifty year resident of Lyons and a retired employee of the former 
Ypsilanti Reed Furniture company.  She was a member of Women of the Moose of 
Ionia.

Surviving are one daughter, Meriam Hancock; one niece and one nephew.

Services are Monday at 2p.m. at Shaw-Rivett-Hull funeral home, Muir and burial 
in Lyons cemetery.
