Mrs. Eva M. Hancock, 55, of 146 Elizabeth, Lyons, died Monday afternoon at 
Lansing General hospital following an extended illness.  She was born February 
21, 1915 at Butternut, the daughter of Emanuel and Alma Whitman and attended 
Butternut and Carson City schools.  In 1942 she was married to Jesse Hancock of 
Lyons and he died in 1951.  She had worked 21 years for Chrysler Trim plant in 
Lyons and its predecessors.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Shoen of Lyons.

Mrs. Hancock will be at Shaw-Rivett-Hull funeral home in Muir until noon 
Thursday when she will be taken to Lyons United Methodist church for funeral 
services at 2 p.m.  Rev. Wayne Sparks will officiate and interment will be at 
Lyons cemetery.
